What kind of a world do we live in?
It was the great Leonidas and his brave 300 that marched down the plains to take on the Persian empire. But this is different.
Thanks to all my followers. For those who have known me for a while, this isn’t my first blog but it’s one I’ve become quite fond of. Life has pretty much settled down into a comfortable reclining position and I end up talking less about my problems. Instead it has given me a platform to vocalise my thoughts about my understanding of the world and my way of life.
I started this blog in 2018 and it’s been quite a journey thus far. I look forward to take this blog to new heights.
I have a small request from my readers. We have all seemed to get into this pattern of liking posts without reading them hoping that this person would follow us back to our own blogs. I’ll admit I’ve done it a few times as well but this pattern needs to go away. It is disrespectful to a writer and might as well skip past if you don’t feel like reading what’s written. I don’t think this qualifies as encouragement either as it has utterly selfish motives behind. I should know, since I’ve done the same in the past. But not anymore. Join me in breaking this pattern.
Thanks for your follow. I hope to keep dazzling you with my words and stories. Stay tuned.
Smita and I discuss the documentary titled “The Social Dilemma” and the dangers of addiction to social media. We also discuss how these giant corporations run algorithms to manipulate us into using their products longer. We talk about our impressions of the documentary and how it applied to our lives and the corrective actions we took to limit our exposure to these dangers.

I can’t believe it’s been a week and I’ve recorded 9 episodes already.
In this episode, I talk to my college friend Abhishek who has always pushed his limits when it comes to physical fitness. A few years ago he took up a challenge and cycled from Pune to Kanyakumari in India, a distance of roughly 1700 kilometres. Post that he cycled the entire length of Nepal and after that he cycled the entire length of Norway. If there was ever a man to be envious of, it’s him. Listen to his incredible story on The Two Bros’ Podcast. You can also follow abhishek’s incredible journey on his Instagram channel called “pedalling.on”. You can also follow Abhishek on his own Instagram page “abhiiyer7”. Additionally, if you like, you can follow me as well by looking for “arjun1097” on Instagram.

I’ve been dabbling in the world of podcasts for over a year now. It was like finding a hidden treasure trove of knowledge, entertainment and information. Everything from hardcore physics to science fiction to celebrity interviews to daily life hacks. I loved it and I was hooked right away. At this moment I have close to 20 GB worth of downloaded podcasts that are in my cue and I continue to subscribe to more and more interesting ones as I find them.
I decided it would be interesting to start my own podcast and see how it goes. It was surprisingly easy to get started and unlike videos, you don’t need a lot of fancy expensive equipment. In fact I already owned everything I needed to get started.
I am proud to present my first podcast which I co-host with my brother. It’s called “The Two Bro’s podcast” where me and my brother have regular conversations discussing everyday things. Additionally I have conversations with other people and we discuss an area of their expertise. It can be found on Apple podcasts, Google podcasts, Spotify and wherever else you get podcasts.
Or it can be found using this link here https://anchor.fm/arjun-sharma469

The drunken haze of last night washed over me repeatedly. Like waves at high tide. Surrounding me. Drowning me.
Gasping for air I breathed myself back to life. The haze continued. Memory failed me. I recalled nothing except my sense of regret. The whiskey glasses sat right where we left them, half drunk. The cigarettes lounged around the ash tray, discarded in haste, caressed with the touch of your lips with light lipstick stains.
You were nowhere to be seen. My clothes strewn about but yours nowhere to be found. The front door was unlocked. A small note lay on the kitchen counter top. You were gone. All that was left of you were the lipstick stained cigarettes.
And that’s it. I knew right then I would never know what you were actually going to say. I could see it in your eyes. It was too late.
